The Junge im Kunstverein is a platform for anyone who is looking to engage with art and exchange ideas with like-minded people. Here you can meet new people, network and learn more about art in direct conversation with art historians, artists and gallery owners.
At the next event on September 10 , curator Maria Aresin will guide us through her newly opened exhibition "Jenseits der Mitte. Sketches on the edge". The Kupferstichkabinett will focus on the otherwise inconspicuous edges of graphic works, which offer artistic scope for a wide range of curious motifs: For the first time, the exhibition will explore the fascinating phenomenon of marginal incursions (French: remarques) in prints from the Baroque to classical modernism. The focus is on important works from the Kupferstichkabinett by artists such as Stefano della Bella, Eugène Delacroix, Édouard Manet, Edvard Munch, Käthe Kollwitz and Georges Braque.
If you are a member of the Kunstverein in Bremen and between 20 and 40 years old and would like to attend, please register by sending an e-mail to Pauline Reischuck. There is also the opportunity for anyone interested who is not yet a member to come along for a taster evening.
