Die Kölner Ringe Fotoausstellung von VHS-Kursteilnehmenden im VHS Studienhaus Köln

In the organizer's words:

The photos of Cologne's rings were taken between 2021 and 2024 over the course of six semesters as part of an ongoing VHS course project. The typical and characteristic features of the various sections of the ring road as well as the topic of traffic and mobility were worked out. The participants were free to discover motifs for themselves on the rings and the visual axes emanating from them. Thanks to the different points of view and perspectives, the exhibition presents a multi-layered and exciting picture of the various sections of the Ring, from the Theodor-Heuss-Ring to the Ubierring. In addition to photos with a documentary character, there are interpretative and subjective images. The result is a contemporary testimony to Cologne's ring roads, which have undergone many changes in the course of their existence.

The conception and realization of the photo exhibition is a collaboration between the course participants and the photo lecturer Hildegard Fritsch.

Opening hours: Monday - Friday, 9 am - 9.30 pm, at weekends from 10 am - 5.30 pm.
