Doc Wenz & The Melancholics

Ten years after his departure from the quirky brass band "Mardi Gras.BB", Jochen Wenz is back on the road with his new band "Doc Wenz & the Melancholics".

Accompanied by Florian Schlechtriemen on drums, Javier de la Poza on bass and Simon Seeleuter on pedal steel, he has a pared-down setup with worthy matured song material and dusty, patinated sounds. Always a little thoughtful, romantic, languorous and legendarily beautiful.
