Dortmund unplugged

In the organizer's words:

The Schiller Songwriter Stage "Dortmund Unplugged" is a concert series in Long August that focuses on local artists. Every second Thursday, three acts present a 30-minute program with acoustic instruments, their own songs and close proximity to the audience. "Dortmund Unplugged" promotes the diversity and creativity of Dortmund's singer/songwriter scene. It creates a platform for local talents to present themselves and build a close bond between artists and listeners. The series is hosted by Hans Blücher, Boris Gott and a team from Nordmarkt Records and Musiksyndikat Ruhr.

"Leonie Sky", "Tante Matta" and "Hans Blücher" will perform at the Christmas edition of Dortmund unplugged on 12.12.2024.

TANTE MATTA
The Dortmund band Tante Matta writes music about life, traveling and the stories that come with the years. Teddy, Philipp, Ralf, Dirk and Hans focus on the essentials: German-language lyrics that make you think and melodies that invite you to sing along.

LEONIE SKY
Indie pop from Dortmund: minimalist with a guitar and a soothing voice that sounds like "smoked honey". An intimate journey through different emotions with lyrics (German & English) about social criticism, melancholy, love, longing & lust for life.

HANS BLÜCHER
... stands for intelligent indie sound from the school of singer/songwriters. Sometimes in the fuzzy rhythm of the guitar, then funky with a patented James Brown scream or melancholy and soulful like a rainy summer's day. But always with empathetic German lyrics, melodies that don't let go and a very special connection to the audience.
