Let's welcome the new year together with an Ecstatic Dance Ritual. We come together to celebrate life in gratitude and joy. 💃 ✨ 🕺

Ecstatic Dance is a dance ritual in which you are invited to let the sounds of the music take you on a journey to yourself and to express yourself freely through dance. It is not about dancing or performing beautifully. It is a kind of moving meditation through which you can connect with your mind, your heart and your soul.

We create a space where you are safe and where acceptance, respect, community and connection are paramount. This is your space to move fully as you need to, without any thought to how you look or what anyone thinks of you.

This is your space to dance freely.

Our DJ Philipp accompanies the whole Ecstatic Dance Ritual with a musical sound journey through various electronic genres, with the intention of touching you and the facets of your being.

How does the whole thing work?

It is a matter close to our hearts to work specifically with the power of intention as well as with elements of dance therapy.

Our Ecstatic Dance Ritual always begins with a cocoa ceremony and a drum meditation . Here you will be guided to set your intention for the evening, which you can then anchor and express through your dance.

Our body is an incredibly powerful tool with which we can invite certain things into our lives, but through which we can also let go. We believe that your dance can be an expression of the transformation that can happen within you through music.

And so there is a smooth transition after the cacao ceremony to the Ecstatic Dance. We start the dance with a collective body warm-up, in which we first land in our own body awareness and spatial awareness and make our bodies beautifully supple. We then get to know the community and use dance therapy elements to create a shared space in which everyone feels safe, familiar and respected. Afterwards, your Ecstatic Dance begins and you are invited to dance wildly, freely, gently, however you need to.

Our guidelines:

🌀We dance barefoot
🌀During the Ecstatic Dance we only communicate non-verbally
🌀We respect the personal space of all participants
🌀No cell phones
🌀Alcohol and drug-free room

Please bring the following:

🌀Your favorite cup for your cocoa
🌀Come in comfy clothes in which you can really get your groove on
🌀A scarf or a thin blanket with which you can snuggle up while chilling out
