Journalist Emanuel Goldfarb is asked to answer questions about Judaism in front of a school class. Why should he do this? The wording of his refusal becomes an angry confrontation with the difficulties in German-Jewish relations. His reflections on anti-Semitism and false compassion ultimately lead him to his own history and that of his family. A clever and provocative monologue of great topicality.
