In the upcoming exhibition, the Argentinean artists Esteban Pastorino and Hugo Aveta will be shown in parallel on the ground floor and 2nd floor of the exhibition rooms of Galerie Seippel in Cologne. Esteban Pastorino will be exhibiting his current light panoramas from Cologne and Positano. The video installation Teatro Mundi by Hugo Aveta and new photographs from his series Invisible Gods will be on display in the project room.

Esteban Pastorino has found a way to capture 30-minute journeys through or across landscapes in a single photograph using self-made cameras and 35mm film. The resulting work is a 200-meter-long negative, which he presents in light boxes. In 2024 Pastorino had residencies in Positano and Cologne. This resulted in unprecedented contemporary panoramas of the vertical city, the coast, the Rhine and Cologne Cathedral.

Hugo Aveta conceives and stages miniature spaces and stage sets, which he then photographs, animates and plays with projections.
