Event: Queer Readings

In the organizer's words:

The monthly tin\* writing space at the AGB is an open exchange and empowerment space for all tin\* (trans, inter\*, nobinary*) people who write. Since the beginning of 2023, the writing space has been opened by Biba Oskar Nass (he/him or no pronouns) and designed by the participants themselves: Here, texts can be brought along and asked for feedback, people write together and exchange ideas about the highs and lows of writing.

The participants then present their texts to the public. Together with the audience, a space with a relaxed workshop character is created, which invites participants to become literarily active in various ways on site.

However, there are also quiet zones in the room where interaction and communication are not encouraged. Anyone who just wants to come and listen is also welcome.

The reading will be held in German and English spoken language. The venue can accommodate up to 70 people and access is barrier-free.

Stimming and tics are respected.

People who wish to be accompanied to the pop-up room can meet at the entrance to the library 15 minutes before the event begins. An awareness person will be waiting there to accompany you to the pop-up room. They will be wearing a safety vest and will also be available during the reading.

Note: Air conditioning and car noise can be heard in the venue. The walls are translucent and air circulates from the ceiling. The inside temperature does not differ significantly from the outside temperature.
