"I want to love, and I love" is the debut of Leipzig-based artist fastmusic. In the opener, he describes the world as a merry-go-round.
But we are definitely on the slowest carousel in the world. The hectic pace of these times bounces off fastmusic completely, both aesthetically and philosophically. "I want to love, and I love" sounds like deceleration and shoegaze romance, like Mali blues and minimalism, but by no means retro. Whether it's about super shoppers, first world problems and the associated kitchen psychology or expressive dancers in the sunlight: live and let live are right at the top of the agenda on this album. In our highly explosive era, "I want to love, and I love" provides the soundtrack to the 3-day week. Digital detox included. Thank you, fastmusic!

Back then or: these colors! The little plastic organ. Surprisingly, it has scratches from No Wave and residue from Post-Gaffa. Zurich musician Sabina Leone is behind Héloïse. She sits at her drum kit and sews percussive patterns with scraps of fabric from offstage.
