Music producer Frank Farian is working on his latest stroke of genius. He hires the still undescribed dancers Rob Pilatus and Fab Morvan. Farian forms the pop duo Milli Vanilli from the two talents - and the plan works. No ascent to the highest heights of the international charts seems too steep for Rob and Fab. But a big secret hangs over them like the sword of Damocles: Rob and Fab have not sung for a second themselves, but simply moved their lips to the singing of others.
