"WOMAN offers the women of the world a place for their voices: emotions, dreams, hopes.

The worldwide WOMAN project offers two thousand women from fifty countries a place for their voices. The result is an intimate portrait of those who make up half of humanity. All the injustices faced by women around the world are brought to light. But what WOMAN emphasizes most is the immense strength of women. This strength and their ability to change the world for the better, despite all the obstacles and injustices, touches, inspires and encourages. In this new era where women's voices are becoming louder and louder, the aim of the film is not just to demand rights or focus on the problems, but to finally make women's voices heard, find solutions and ensure that women are never again seen as the "weaker sex".

In WOMAN, women tell their touching, remarkable and inspiring stories, talk about motherhood, education, sexuality, marriage or financial independence and about taboo subjects such as menstruation and domestic violence. Hundreds of stories come together, from heads of state and farmers, from beauty queens and bus drivers, stories of women from the most remote regions of the world and from the most modern metropolises. WOMAN has thus succeeded in painting a comprehensive picture of what it means to be a woman in today's world. Women have never been heard like this before."
