Ánnámáret is a Sámi yoiker with a unique yoik voice and interpretation. With her band and visual artists she has created her own audiovisual world. She combines Ánnámáret Yoiks with electronic music and video art. Ánnamáret's music is inspired by life and nature in Sápmi as well as Sámi cosmology, spirituality and philosophy. She has realized two solo albums with her band: Nieguid duovdagat (2021) and Bálvvosbáiki (2024). Her concert at the finissage of the 20th European Culture Days: Sápmi combines Sámian singing with Karelian sounds: Ánnamáret's Luohti are accompanied by Ilkka Heinonen, who plays the Karelian lyre Jouhikko .
Ánnámáret, Anna Näkkäläjärvi-Länsman is a Sámi yoiker. In February 2021 she released her first Yoik album Nieguid duovdagat with her band. Before that, Anna Näkkäläjärvi-Länsman released two solo albums with the Ánnámáret Ensemble (Beallječiŋat 2011 and Gollehelmmot 2016). She has participated as a solo artist in many Sámi music productions.
Ilkka Heinonen is a musician and composer who specializes in folk music. His instruments include the Finnish bowed lyre, G-violone and double bass. In addition to bands that have incorporated influences from European folk music cultures, Heinonen has worked both as a solo artist and in orchestras, concerts and modern and traditional music projects.
