Firebrigade

In the organizer's words:

After more than 15 years of big band swing, the band has returned to its origins (the rock music of the late 70s and 80s) and is returning to the region's stages with a new line-up and the current program 'Back to the eighties'.

In the 80s and 90s there wasn't an event in the Delta where the guys weren't represented.
They never conformed to any trends, but always played material that they themselves liked and enjoyed.
Particularly noteworthy are the infamous theater carnival at the Mannheim National Theater, the Woinemer Kerwe and the legendary shows at the Mannheim fire station, which also inspired the band's name.

Crossover was never a foreign word for the gentlemen.
There have been many joint appearances with guests such as Norbert Schwefel, Hans Reffert, Silke Hauck and many other well-known greats from the region whose names alone would be worth more stories.

Back to the current program which consists of titles from bands like:
Golden Earring, Bob Seeger, ZZ Top, Jackson Browne, Randy Newman, The Knack, Dr. Feelgood, Huey Lewis etc.
As always, the titles are not covered 1:1 but performed in their own Firebrigade sound.

The men around leader Marcus Int-Veld are not a tribute band, but an independent band with their own sound, whose sole aim is and has always been to entertain the audience.

The current line-up consists of:
