In the turmoil of the current pre-war period, the swing eccentrics, the FIRLEFANZBRÜDER duo, also bring an entertaining breath of fresh air to some political chansons of the post-war period. JS. Strauss is the grand nephew of cabaret artist and actor Wolfgang Müller, who played alongside the "Man with the Timpani" in the 1950s. These two became famous through cinema blockbusters such as "Das Wirtshaus im Spessart". With Müller's biography in hand, Strauss draws parallels from 1933/45 to 2024/25 and is musically supported by pianist Timo Tietz. The FIRLEFANZBRÜDER swing through the occupied West Berlin of the rubble years and also free some old political chansons from the dust of time. With works by Franz Grothe/Günter Neumann, Bruno Balz/Heino Gaze as well as Bully Buhlan, the King Kols and others.
