Concert

The international concert series frameless presents new approaches to experimental music that deal with the changed living conditions in the digital age. Tomoyoshi Date from Tokyo deconstructs and reassembles in the field of tension between analog instruments and electronic processes. His forthcoming Piano Trilogy moves within this field of tension and experiments with the pure sound of the piano.
Stephan Mathieu - a luminary in the field of electro-acoustic music and founder of the Schwebung label - will join Tomoyoshi Date on stage. For this evening at frameless, the two will create a set of drums, piano and synthesizer that will only be performed once. Argentinian artist and graphic designer Caro Mikalef will be creating the lighting design.
