The Munich Volkstheater is one of the leading spoken-word theaters in Munich. On October 15, 2022, the new Munich Volkstheater was opened in the Schlachthofviertel. The house has 3 stages. Christian Stückl has been the artistic director since 2002. With a new and young ensemble, he created an independent profile and opened the house to work with young directors* who direct alongside Christian Stückl at the house. The program is supplemented by readings, concerts and panel discussions. The festival for young directors "Radikal jung" has been held annually since 2005. With "Radikal jung," the Munich Volkstheater presents successful productions by up-and-coming directors. The festival promotes young talents who have distinguished themselves with their work in the German and European theater landscape.

Die Theaterkasse hat von Montag bis Freitag, 11 bis 18 Uhr und Samstag, 11 bis 14 Uhr geöffnet.

Die Kasse ist an Sonntagen und gesetzlichen Feiertagen geschlossen. An Heiligabend und Silvester schließt unsere Kasse bereits um 14 Uhr.
