There are always so many nice newcomers on Fritz on the radio - it's about time we let them loose on you - LIVE! The FritzSessions always take place on the first Monday of the month at Prachtwerk in Berlin-Neukölln and always feature newcomers that you absolutely have to see live. With us this time:

TIM BALDUS

His first single "Blüten" left us in awe when it was released in summer 2023. What a voice. What a melody. Of course, we immediately celebrated this debut on the radio and haven't been able to get away from Tim Baldus since. Every song is a little revelation. Widescreen sounds paired with lyrics in Technicolor. No one conjures up moments from words as magically as the Saarland native. His latest track "Winter in Paris" is no exception. Find out how these songs of longing sound live at the FritzSessions. Goosebumps are guaranteed.

LARA HULO *now a new member

No question about it. She contributed one of the most striking songs to the Fritz program last year. Over a few dabbed piano chords, which suddenly become erratic in the chorus, a voice floats like after a night of dancing in a Berlin club. The song is called "Side B*tch" and Lara Hulo is the artist we immediately took to our hearts. The song went viral on TikTok at the end of last year, with creations galore and finally the attention this talent deserves. After all, "Side B*tch" is just the beginning. There is so much more to come. We're looking forward to it at the FritzSessions.

KID KAPRI

"Yesterday is forever, tomorrow will be better" is the name of Kid Kapri's debut album, which will be released on January 26. A good week later, he will be on stage at the FritzSessions. We're super happy that he'll be there to put a glow on our faces with his melodic trap earworms. Known for his early steps with Florida Juicy, the Bremen native has long since escaped the underground and is himself a role model for other newcomers. More than 470k listeners lose themselves in his songs every month on Spotify alone, and with the new album there are sure to be a few more. We are a fan. No doubt about it. And live... you have no idea!

RUBI

Keep my circle small, only 4 life. Our lifestyle ready for Hollywood. Anyone who doesn't immediately think of one of the bangers par excellence when hearing these lyrics was sleeping under a rock in early 2023. Rubi's anthem "Only 4 Life" took off back then and catapulted the Augsburg native into the charts. She was also previously known as rapper Liz from "Berlin - Tag & Nacht"... or from the Wolf bakery in her hometown. There, Leona Ruben, as the singer is actually called, became Rubi. The reason? Ms. Ruben sounded too serious for her. So her boss came up with the idea of calling her Rubi. Fun fact 4 free. The name stuck. Streaming hits and Insta likes have been added. We're looking forward to one of the most exciting newcomers around at the FritzSessions in February. Because Rubi is simply the best!

2024 has got off to a great start. Our January edition was completely sold out and, as promised, a night to remember. Where else can you find 4 newcomers for just 12 euros? If you want to play it safe and be there next time, you'd better get a ticket quickly! Because: Better to have than to need ;-)
