The Israeli saxophonist Gal Liraz began playing the saxophone at the age of thirteen, and within a few years had carved out a place for himself in the Tel Aviv jazz scene. At the age of twenty, he moved to Berlin to study at the Jazz Institute Berlin. Since graduating, he has lived in Berlin and plays both there and throughout Germany.

The trio presents a selection from the American Songbook and original pieces from the jazz tradition. http://www.galliraz.com
