Gesina Liebe shows objects that were created in the 1980s and 1990s. Her materials are slate, glass, steel, limestone, steatite and rusted steel wire. In 2009, Gesina Liebe fell seriously ill and was therefore no longer able to work as a stone sculptor. She was the first woman to work as a sculptor at Cologne Cathedral in the 1970s.
Kalle Paltzer, a graphic designer and trained ceramist, has been involved in the re- and upcycling of paper since 2005. He processes corrugated cardboard, tissue paper and paper pulp into sculptural wall objects. Haptic-optical stimuli and sculptural presence intensify in the field of tension between light and shadow, which are separated by grid points, curvatures and craquelure.
