Romantic opera in three acts (concertante)
A brilliant finale, a summit meeting and an impressive masterpiece. Together with outstanding soloists, the RIAS Chamber Choir and the KAP, Antonello Manacorda will give a concert performance of the famous romantic opera "Der Freischütz" by Carl Maria von Weber in the Nikolaisaal, the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées Paris, the Festspielhaus Baden-Baden and the Berlin Philharmonie. Weber stages the great love between Agathe and Max, fairy-tale demons and fateful twists and turns in a fantastic story about human destiny, which comes to life in gripping and captivating music.
