Lesung mit Hanna Mittelstädt und Regine Anacker: 'Franz Jung. Der Sprung aus der Zeit'

Franz Jung (*1888 †1963) was a stock market journalist, bohemian, expressionist and revolutionary activist. As a poet, Dada drummer, volunteer and deserter in the First World War, activist of the Spartacus League, co-founder of the KAPD, vagabond, ship hijacker, manager of a Russian match factory, economic analyst and stock market speculator, Franz Jung was already a legend during his lifetime. For the anthology 'Der Sprung aus der Zeit', the editors have selected texts in various forms from the 14 volumes of the Franz Jung Works Edition, spanning fifty years and presenting Jung's entire diversity: from expressionist verve to cool analysis, from family stories to travel stories, from Dada to radical political literature.

Hanna Mittelstädt, co-editor of the anthology as well as co-founder and former publisher of Edition Nautilus, will talk about the creative process and Franz Jung's fascination, while Dortmund-based copywriter, editor and author Regine Anacker will read some passages.
