What will the work of the future look like? If we want to live meaningfully on this planet in the long term, the world of work will have to change, labor researcher Hans Rusinek is certain of this. Because it is in the world of work that the decisive behaviors with which we deal with the world are formed - and these behaviors are directly linked to the climate crisis. Rusinek therefore radically brings together the future of work and the future of the planet and calls for a work-survive balance that brings us into harmony with the climate crisis: He explains which barriers to thinking and trading we need to overcome for a working world suitable for the grandchildren - for example in dealing with time or discovering artificial intelligence - and why the workplace is the best place to practice better behaviors together.

Hans Rusinek researches, advises and publishes on the changing world of work. He conducts research at the University of St. Gallen and is a Fellow of Think Tank 30 of the Club of Rome Germany. Until 2020, he was Strategy Director of the Boston Consulting Group's purpose consultancy BrightHouse. His essays appear in BrandEins, Die Zeit and Deutschlandfunk, among others, for which he received the Ludwig Erhard Foundation's award for business journalism in 2020.
