Workshop and short hike with Elisa Sievers (environmental and youth education officer at NABU-Berlin) and Lars Sund (nature and species conservation officer at NABU-Berlin)

There is a cure for every ailment. True to this motto, there is quick help in nature for blisters on the feet, insect bites or tired legs. We want to show you which plants really help and how they can be found on almost any hike. Many of the useful plants are unknown today and grow undiscovered by the wayside. Sometimes they are even dismissed as weeds. We want to introduce the value of medicinal herbs for us and the ecosystem. After all, it is very practical to know immediately which plant will give us relief from an insect bite and where we can find it. And did you know that there is a plant whose roots smell of cloves, so that we can use it to protect ourselves from mosquitoes? We will tell you this and much more in our medicinal herbs hiking workshop.

Notes on event tickets:

• Unless otherwise stated, the lectures will take place in the club hut on the 1st floor. There is only room for a limited number of guests, which is why we strongly recommend using the advance booking service.
• Tickets are now available online and at the Service Point on the 2nd floor.
• Online tickets are free of shipping costs.
• Please note: Online registration closes two hours before the start of the event.
