For the fourth time, the İÇ İÇE Festival invites music enthusiasts from various communities to celebrate the sounds and culture of the Anatolian region together. As the name İÇ İÇE suggests - Turkish for "intertwined" or "interwoven" - genre boundaries are overcome through a diverse music and cultural program and people from different diasporas are brought together.
An exciting program will be created for visitors that goes far beyond music and includes performances, workshops, readings and discussions dedicated to topics such as multiple affiliations, solidarity, racism and empowerment. The events serve as a platform for making the concerns of the diaspora visible and for an essential cultural dialogue. Behind the İÇ İÇE Festival is a dedicated festival team made up of mostly queer and migrant people.
