Between the past and a new beginning - how do refugee women deal with their longing for home? Can art help us to build bridges? Ekaterina Vorobieva, a soon-to-be graduate of photography at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts, explores this question in her bachelor's thesis "I want the old days back". She has documented the moving stories of refugee women on film and in photographs. The resulting images encourage an intercultural dialog about successful integration.
