The exhibition by Lena Heeschen, Guide Aguilera Castro and Anna Helmke focuses on the relationship between the outside and inside world and the dialog between image and viewer. The medium of photography links the works of the three artists, as does their exploration of spatial structures and landscapes.Lena Heeschen experiments with photographic and theatrical elements and creates associative spaces. While her works always focus on the manipulation of scale and with it the need for a point of orientation, Guide Aguilera Castro deals with themes such as the relationship between past and landscape, migration and mental health. Through the abstraction, use and meaning of natural elements, he succeeds in creating representations of contemporary social issues. Anna Helmke explores human landscapes through abstract photography and painting. Her images serve as doors to our inner narratives. She invites viewers to immerse themselves in these narratives that shape our perception.
