The lit.COLOGNE Debut Prize is entering a new round! Once again we are looking for the most exciting prose debut of the spring. The prize is the 2,222 euro Silver Pig, donated by RheinEnergie.
Marie-Christine Knop will host the evening and present the three nominated candidates: Martina Behm 's first novel Hier draußen is a finely spun portrait of a village community that is thrown off balance by a momentous accident. In Klapper, Kurt Prödel tells a tragicomic story about friendship and growing up in the digital and analog worlds of the 2010s. And Carolin Würfel combines the stories of women from three generations in her fast-paced and multi-layered debut Zuhause ist das Wetter unzuverlässig. Who will win? You decide: at the end of the event, the audience will vote live and choose the winner!
