"Hibernation" - bright singer-songwriter folk from the far north
The singer, composer and pianist Inger Nordvik, who commutes between her native northern Norway and Berlin, has been shaped by many influences: her studies of classical music, the wild nature of the north and her enthusiasm for Joni Mitchell and Kate Bush. No sooner had her critically acclaimed debut album "Time" been released in February 2020 than the first lockdown ruined all her concert plans and Inger retreated to a lonely cabin by the sea in northern Norway. In the silence of the icy, snow-covered landscape, she created the atmospheric, finely spun songs for the album "Hibernation", in which her crystal-clear voice can unfold freely and magically.
