Initially conceived by Kerstin Brätsch as a pilot project, a free-access play area in the west wing of the first floor will open in September 2024 and will grow over the next few years and expand into the outdoor space. Following the example of The Model (1968) - an adventure playground by artist Palle Nielsen at the Moderna Museet in Stockholm - a permanent spatial installation for children is being created in which more is allowed than forbidden.
