In the organizer's words:
Queer Fever sweeps you up into a maelstrom of passion, desire and self-discovery. Under the glaring summer sun of Athens, amid the labyrinthine alleys of Paris, the protagonists here search for love, while elsewhere a friend of a friend becomes an object of desire. The erotic and the botanical intermingle, bringing even a mother and son closer together. Five films that break with norms and explore the limits of longing, leaving us to ponder the question: Is there a place for everyone in this world of queer encounters and sensual moments - and, perhaps, even true happiness, for all?
