With our time on Earth coming to an end, a team of explorers undertakes the most important mission in human history; traveling beyond this galaxy to discover whether mankind has a future among the stars.

"Interstellar" premiered on Nov. 5, 2014 and generated an impressive $731 million at the global box office. Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain and Matt Damon star in the movie, set in a dystopian future in which a group of astronauts must travel to the far reaches of space to find a new planet for humankind to colonize. It was nominated for five Oscars and won for best visual effects. (Variety)
