Invisible Barriers
Talk ("Racism Kills") + Film Screening ("Who Cares?")

Medical racism jeopardizes the health of ethnic minorities through inadequate research and training. Building on the findings of Layal Liverpool's book "Racism Kills", we will talk about how deeply racism is rooted in the healthcare system and how deadly its consequences can be. We will then show the film "Who Cares?", about a training center for medical staff in Switzerland that teaches empathy.
