Jazz Tuezzday Made in Mannheim

In the organizer's words:

The trio around the Mannheim pianist is searching somewhere. They have found their own musical language, which follows its own grammar. Despite appropriating avant-garde vocabulary from new music and contemporary jazz, they never lose their sense of effects, musical arcs - and therefore - accessibility. The well-balanced band sound of the acoustic trio is just as much a component as the complexity of polyrhythmic structures and the multidimensionality of greatly expanded harmonies, which are explored in the original compositions. The nebulous polyphony of the three individuals gives rise to unique music whose statements are formulated with great intensity and seriousness.
