Singer and multi-instrumentalist John Francis Flynn has just released his second album "Look Over The Wall, See The Sky", deconstructing traditional Irish folk music and infusing it with electronics, tape experiments, dub, post-punk or noise music. The unconventional use of instruments and the jagged arrangements give the work an allure that draws the listener into the strange orbit of experimental folk. Supporting will be Marlais, whose musical output also focuses on the interplay of traditional songs from the British Isles and Ireland with modern sounds.
