Joshua Radin

Joshua Radin's music career began unexpectedly, like a rider trying to keep his footing on a fast galloping horse. Fifteen years ago, he was trying to make it as a screenwriter in New York, but when those attempts failed, he picked up the guitar to find solace. After writing his first song, his friend Zach Braff placed it in the series Scrubs, which immediately drew attention to Radin's music. This led to other songs being used in popular TV series such as Grey's Anatomy and One Tree Hill.

Radin's homemade demos quickly reached top spots on iTunes, and Columbia Records signed him. Although he was new to performing live, he rose to the challenge and eventually became confident on stage. He performed with artists such as Ed Sheeran and Sheryl Crow. Since then, he has played sold-out shows worldwide, sold over 750,000 albums and achieved millions of streams.

As one of the most licensed artists, Radin's music has been used in over 150 TV series, commercials and films. Most notable was the selection of his song "Brand New Day" by Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden for a commercial benefiting the troops. He has appeared on major talk shows and even performed at Ellen DeGeneres' wedding.
