K1 is a joint initiative of several Cologne city center galleries. The aim is to draw attention to the diverse program of the lively gallery scene and to enrich Cologne's art and culture scene with two regular events a year.

After successful summer, winter and fall editions in 2013-24 and a steady increase in participants, the K1 galleries will open in winter 2025 on Sunday, January 26 from 11 am to 4 pm.

A small program booklet will guide art enthusiasts through the galleries, foundations and collections. The free tour with all the important information is also available online: www.k1-galerien-köln.de, instagram, facebook and the K1-Galerien-Koeln app for IOS and Android.

The K1 app presents all the galleries with direct access to the websites. Users can sort the galleries by distance and put together a route. In addition, the app offers the option of using created tours or putting together individual tours and sorting the galleries and foundations according to their exhibition program. The K1 app is available via Google Play or the App Store.

Everyone is welcome to discover the various galleries and their current exhibitions on an individual tour. From painting and photography to sculpture and works on paper, there is something for every art lover. Let yourself be inspired and take part in the cultural diversity of our home city of Cologne.
