Kaisenhausmuseum geöffnet

The volunteer-run small museum on the history of Bremen's Kaisenhäuser is closely linked to the Geschichtskontor. It is open from April to October. Those interested can visit the small museum twice a month on a Sunday from 14:00 -18:00 and take a trip into the countryside. Afterwards, coffee and homemade cake can be enjoyed on the terrace or in the garden of the small museum. Children can try out old toys. The small museum focuses on the history of the founding of the Bremen Kaisenhäuser after the Second World War. The immediate post-war history and the period of reconstruction are presented in an exhibition. In addition to the documentation, the museum's exhibition rooms contain objects mainly from the 1950s. The kitchen with old appliances can be viewed, as can the owner's former bedroom.
