It has been seven long years since the city carried out the workshop procedure for the development of the Hallen Kalk site. After tough negotiations and many hurdles, the knot finally seems to have been tied in the summer of 2024: on Saturday, July 27, 2024, this location can be used for public and cultural purposes for the first time in Cologne's history. Be there when Cologne's newest and largest open-air cultural space opens. And that's just the beginning! For the initiatives, the start of the summer program, which will last several months, also means that the pioneering use can finally begin and what has been put down on paper for years can now be tested in practice.

At the GRAND OPENING, the program items for the coming weeks will also be presented and - together with representatives of the City of Cologne - some interesting updates will be given.

Important information: Even though the site can accommodate well over 2,000 people, the number of visitors is still limited for the time being. So it's worth coming early!
