Kiezblocks für Pankow – Gestalte die Verkehrswende mit!

In the organizer's words:

Are you sometimes annoyed by the hectic traffic in the Winsviertel, Bötzowkiez and Grüne Stadt? Do you dream of a lively and car-free neighborhood? Then come along and actively shape the traffic turnaround in your neighborhood!

The Pankow district office is currently investigating the introduction of Kiezblocks in these neighborhoods. A Kiezblock is a residential area without through traffic for cars, where pedestrians and cyclists are the main focus. In the long term, the streets are also to be made more attractive and lively through street furniture, green spaces or play streets.

At the Kiezlabor, the planning team will provide information about the project and present initial results. All neighbors are cordially invited to contribute their ideas, needs and suggestions. In a planning game, you can experience for yourself which open space qualities are hidden in the street space.
