As part of Fair Week 2024, the district offices of Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg and Neukölln are organizing the public film and discussion evening "Das Kombinat" - kann Wirtschaft auch solidarisch?

The documentary DAS KOMBINAT accompanies "Das Kartoffelkombinat" from Munich over a period of 9 years on its moving journey from an idealistic idea to the largest community-supported agriculture in Germany.
The two founders, Daniel Überall and Simon Scholl, use the cultivation of vegetables as a Trojan horse to promote a much bigger idea. The two want a different economic system, an alternative to the capitalist mode of production. They ask themselves how we produce things, who owns the means of production and who should ultimately benefit from this production?
Following the film, we discuss these questions with Jonas Allgeier, fruit grower at "Solawi GranDeli in Gransee"
