Climate justice and ethics
Talk ("Climate justice") + film screening ("Yintah")

How can we shape progress without jeopardizing the future? In this talk, we discuss the ethical limits of research and the responsibility we have towards the environment and future generations. Elias König's "Climate Justice" provides us with important food for thought. How can we change our consumption and live international solidarity in order to mitigate the consequences of climate change? We will then show the film "Yintah" and accompany an indigenous community in their fight against a destructive pipeline.

Beyond Progress
Conversation ("Climate Justice") + Film Screening ("Yintah")

The climate crisis poses a global challenge. Where are the ethical boundaries of progress in a world marked by inequality? Together with filmmakers and experts, we will discuss how we can shape research to meet the needs of all people. Elias König's book "Klimagerechtigkeit" offers a framework for this discussion. We will ask: How can we change our lifestyles and foster international solidarity to address the climate crisis? We will then screen "Yintah", a powerful film that chronicles an Indigenous community's fight against a destructive pipeline.
