Queer rejuvenation through techno is the honorable leitmotif of the New York party series Merge, and Clarisa Kimskii, as resident DJ, has been instrumental in the success of the raves that have been taking place in various locations in Brooklyn for three years. In her sets, she moves between different techno subgenres with long and sometimes aggressive mixing and draws her creativity from over 20 years of DJ experience - to be experienced at tonight's club night at Berghain. The DJ and producer Danny Daze has his musical roots in Miami's b-boy culture, whose love of music is based on the Miami bass of the 80s and the underground electro sound of the Dutch around Viewlexx. His releases on labels such as Schematic, Moustache and his own OMNIDISC range from experimental electro, electronica and peak-time techno to music for fashion shows; his debut album ::BLUE::, released in 2023, was a stunning soundtrack for an audiovisual planetarium show.
