Hard Ton (live)

"Good Boys Say Yes Sir" is the name of the new single by Hard Ton, the Italian duo with the larger-than-life Hi-NRG sound. With falsetto vocals, tongue-in-cheek humor and a contemporary interpretation of the gay New York club sound of the early 80s, they have been conjuring up a lustful disco dancefloor for 15 years, which is also a vital bow (on acid!) to the great divas of their time, Sylvester and Divine. For the club night, Hard Ton will be playing live in the Säule. The Greek DJ and producer ANN-E has made a name for herself over the last three years with releases on Soma, Hardgroove and Mutual Rhythm for fast, heavy drums and an independent take on 90s techno, and is playing at Berghain today. One floor up is Neil McDonald aka Lord Of The Isles, a DJ and producer who translates his love for the nature of the Highlands and Islands of his Scottish homeland into wonderfully unbounded music between ambient, deep techno, analog house, Italo and Balearic sounds. His latest album, My Noise Is Nothing, recorded with poet Eilen Renton, is a bold and visually stunning love letter to the great outdoors.
