The session begins, the fifth season dawns, the whole of Cologne gets jolly.

For many couples it is a dream to get married on this day.

Your dream will come true! Because this year on 11.11. you can get married in a Protestant ceremony or have your relationship blessed:

In the middle of the Volksgarten, with live Cologne music and a carnival atmosphere, you can say yes to each other.

When: Monday, 11.11.2024, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Who: Pastors and preachers of the Protestant Church in Cologne and the region

For whom? Couples who want to have their love blessed

What: Your love will be blessed: Either as a blessing of your relationship or as a registered church wedding.

Church wedding:
A church wedding is an official act and is entered in the church registers. Important: One of you must be a member of the Protestant church and you must already be married in a civil ceremony. Make sure you bring your civil certificate with you.

Blessing of your relationship:
You don't have to be a member of a Christian church or be married.

You are welcome to come spontaneously or register in advance in the registration field below.

You should allow half an hour for the ceremony.

Come as you are: as a couple or with guests, in a carnival costume or in a tuxedo and wedding dress.

The blessing and the church wedding are independent of your sexual identity. Love between people is a gift from God that we are very happy to bless.
