kunst & design markt in München

The art & design market at the MVG Museum: discover, marvel, enjoy! On December 7-8, 2024, the MVG Museum in Giesing will be transformed into a paradise for art and design lovers from 10 am to 6 pm. Around 150 exhibitors will be presenting unique products, from clothing and jewelry to furniture and food. Admission is €5 for adults and Free admission for children under 14. Tickets can be purchased on site. There will also be free guided tours of the MVG Museum, with exhibitors from Germany, Austria and all over Europe presenting their creative, sustainable products. Local talents such as platepunks, les loops and nuts&needles from Munich will also be represented. 
The market offers a platform for small businesses that focus on quality, longevity and conscious consumption. Visitors can get in direct contact with the makers and learn the personal story behind each product. At the same time, the market invites visitors to discover unique treasures and buy their first Christmas presents. Young restaurateurs will be on hand to provide guests with delicious food and drinks, while the listed MVG Museum in Munich will showcase the history of local transport and provide a special atmosphere for the market with historic streetcars and a subway simulator. The kunst & design markt is being held there for the eleventh time and has had a fresh new look since its rebranding in September. In collaboration with the Munich-based risography and design studio The Happy Club, a striking design was created that focuses on creativity, sustainability and community. The new look, which reflects the continuous development of the market since it was founded in 2011, was received with great enthusiasm. In December, visitors can once again look forward to the unique atmosphere brought to life by the new design and the energy of the team.
