Kunstwerk im Viertel

Together!

This year, the artists and artisans of Kunstwerk im Viertel will be exploring the theme of "Togetherness".

The aim is to make a positive contribution against the current polarized political debate on how to deal with otherness and the "foreign". We believe that Kunstwerk im Viertel stands for open, liberal, democratic and diverse participation for all. For us, art is a cultural language with which people can exchange and connect with each other.
The participating artists and artisans look for one or more artistic dialog partners, possibly national or transnational, with whom an artistic collaboration can develop. Culture and cultural development seeks and lives from influence. Influences are absorbed and transformed so that something new can emerge from them.
"Togetherness" specifically means: seeking influence, allowing each other to be artistically stimulated and influenced and, if possible, working collectively.
What is avoidably strange can provide impulses and be integrated into one's own work as innovative input.
The results of the artistic "Togetherness" will be on display at
from 08.09. - 12.09. from 15.00-18.00 in the rooms of Villa Sponte.
Vernissage is on 08.09. at 17.00.
