Family alarm! Lia, a film director in her early 30s, is expecting an unplanned child with her boyfriend Tom. So the Bergemanns are getting even more additions - until now, Lia's older sister Jule in particular has had four children. Together with her husband Arne, she struggles through the rush hour of parenthood. Jule's twin sister Anne lives with her partner without children (and knows best when it comes to parenting tips). The three sisters meet three times in the space of a year at their parents' house. Kerstin and Bernd, housewife and architect on the verge of retirement, have their very own experiences of parenthood ...
