Laraaji
New York City-based Laraaji began making music on the street in the 1970s, improvising trance-inducing jams with a modified autoharp processed with various electronic effects. The influential British musician and record producer Brian Eno saw him playing one evening in Washington Square Park and invited him to record an album of ambient music in his studio. Laraaji went on to release a whole series of albums for a variety of labels, many of which he recorded himself at home and sold as cassettes at his street gigs. In recent years, his profile has experienced a renaissance with a series of new and re-released recordings on the All Saints label, as well as worldwide performances, laughter meditation workshops and deep listening sessions.

Patrick Shiroishi
Patrick Shiroishi is a Japanese-American multi-instrumentalist and composer based in Los Angeles, perhaps best known for his extensive and incredibly intense work with the saxophone. Over the past decade, he has established himself as one of the leading improvising musicians in Los Angeles, both as a soloist and in numerous collaborative projects. Shiroishi may well be considered one of the founding members of the city's vast musical spectrum.
