EVENT DETAILS:

"Die wollen nur Spielen" is your public game night for board & board games in Cologne's Südstadt on every 2nd & 4th Wednesday of the month from 18h*/**

True to the event title "They just want to play", you've come to the right place to do just that: just play. Analog games. Real people. Digital detox at its best. Switch off, come down. The day was exhausting enough. You've earned it!

You don't need to bring anything, we've already provided everything in terms of games. Tables. Chairs. Toilets. Games too, of course. Everything is there! Your favorite game is of course also welcome. But don't be offended if it's not played after all with all the great games you can get to know ;)

With us there is no minimum consumption, no game/rental fee, no registration or other hurdles. You bring your favorite snacks and/or drinks yourself or have them delivered. Everything else is optional. Please note the "Price information" at the bottom of this entry.

On the contrary: As a thank you for spending the evening with us, you'll get something from us! A 10% shopping voucher for your next game purchase, which you can redeem at "Spielbrett Köln". You won't just get this voucher once, but for every single visit to our store. Both thumbs up! :)

FOOD & DRINK:

As just described: It's best to bring your own drinks, snacks & other food. Several kiosks & a "Penny" supermarket are not far away. Alternatively, you can of course also order something from Lieferando, Wolt, Flink etc. However, please make sure that there are no dishes such as plates, knives, forks or similar on site.

The address for Spieleglück is the parish hall "St. Pantaleon" (opposite "Jonas küchen | kultur | köln") | Trierer Str. 2, 50676 Köln

KVB lines 3, 4 or 18:

Get off at the "Poststraße" stop. From there, go over the "Stromberg" bridge, up "Pantaleonstraße" & then along "Waisenhausgasse" to the 2nd intersection. Turn right again & then you will find the entrance directly opposite "Jonas küchen | kultur | köln" on the right side of the wall.

KVB lines 12, 15 or 16:

Get off at the "Eifelstraße" stop. From there, walk past "Newzellas Backstube", along "Waisenhausgasse" to the 2nd intersection. Turn left again & then you will find the entrance directly opposite "Jonas küchen | kultur | köln" on the right side of the wall.

Car, bike & other means of transportation

Of course you can also come by bike or e-scooter. You can simply park them in the courtyard behind the entrance gate (please do not park sharing bikes or e-scooters in the courtyard. According to the provider, these must be parked in public spaces).

Of course, it is also no problem to park your car. You can find parking spaces in the area, e.g. privately via the "Ampido" app.

Game Night Pop Up's are privately & non-profit organized & managed (non-profit). That's why we ask for a monetary contribution of your choice at our events. Just what you can, want & feel comfortable with. These contributions are used exclusively for the joint financing of the premises used as well as the equipment & toilets provided.
