Les Fils de Teuhpu (FR)

Anyone who thinks that there is nothing new in Balkan brass ska has certainly not experienced the French band Les Fils De Teuhpu. The combination of their instruments alone is definitely worth hearing and seeing. In addition to classic instruments such as drums, electric guitar or trumpet, they use a self-made bass consisting of a spade, tin bucket and two nylon strings, for example, or giant shells as rocking wind instruments. The six guys from Paris approach making music with so much fun, playfulness and carefreeness that it can't help but trigger storms of enthusiasm in the audience. The French are always good for musical surprises.
